Blackhawks Don’t need Bridges
Not my most favorite map, however the use of air power on it is something I enjoy seeing and being a part of when performed properly. The prima pic above is incorrect in saying the choppers spawn at the hotel/hill, when in fact they spawn at the gas stations to the far north and south of the map. However, if the hotel (1) is lost, or the backyard (5) is lost, the choppers for the respective sides will no longer spawn for the enemy. So, as MEC, it is VITAL to keep and hold backyard for if no other reason than to deny them their superior air power (Blackhawk > MEC/Chinese Piece of shit). Need to test if backyard is gone, if chopper can still repair.
Also important is the fact that one of the only two tanks in game will ONLY spawn for US at Backyard. If you take Backyard, you remove their most powerful air & ground units in one strike.
Both sides should try and steal the NME’s Armor before they get to access it. At the start of the game, both tanks are sitting in unoccupied bases waiting for whomever gets their first.
Don’t forget the value of the Z axis on this map, and other urban environments. Snipers placed at key locations can be devastating in 12 v 12 matches at holding roads and other choke points. Mines should also be used (like the warehouse on Dalin Plant & the small island in dragon valley) to deter NME vehicles from passage rather than actually destroy them. To this end, they should be made Visible to the enemy so they halt their vehicles and either get out of them, or sit in them beyond reach of the flags and unable to cap them.
