If you’ve read the planetside primer, much of the next two pages will look very farmilar to you.  If you have read it before, not a lot has changes and feel free to gloss it.  However, after that, all the other information is Battlefield Vietnam specific and should be studied whenever possible.  It starts with the very simple rules first laid out by WNxKujo on how to act when representing Warrior Nation in the battlefield.

1)       Keep TK’ing at a minimum

If someone TK's you, do not seek revenge. Ignore it and continue to play on as if nothing happened. It might've been an accident. If you are repeatedly TK'd by someone you may want to find a different server to play on, OR if they are on OUR server warn them that WNx doesn't tolerate that kind of play around here and they are in danger of being banned.  There are certain maneuvers that require the use of the suicide maneuver to respawn behind our lines to help re-secure flags that are in trouble, this is ok, however only the commander will give THAT order.

2) Never exploit any bug/glitch or use any hacks

If you have become bugged or glitched in a way that gives you an unfair advantage over everyone else in the game, you are expected to immediately log out of the game and ensure you are no longer bugged before playing on any further. If we find out that any WN member has exploited bugs or glitches or used hacks in PlanetSide on purpose, the punishment will be severe...and perhaps permanent.

3) Racism will not be tolerated

Whether it's on TeamSpeak or on in-game chat, Warrior Nation has ZERO tolerance for racism. Yeah, we can all take a joke realize sometimes a mild joke involving race might be told, and it'll be funny, but "mild" racial jokes should be as far as it goes, and only if everyone is enjoying it. Anything else outside of this is racism and once again, the penalty for it will be severe.

4) No Excessive Vulgarity

This includes all the common vulgar words, such as "shit", "fuck", "bitch", "asshole", etc...as well as words like "gay", "fag", and all of their variant forms. Every once in a while is alright. Most of us are adults, and those who aren't are mature enough to handle it. We all get frustrated sometimes and may blurt out some of these words as a result, but I don't think any of us like to hear a long non-stop stream of constant vulgarity, whether it's on TeamSpeak or in regular chat. Please be sure to keep your language in check. If you can't keep it under control, you may be removed from the TeamSpeak channel and placed on ignore in chat. If needed, further action may be taken.

5) Battle Chat = Don't talk unless it's important

If a Squad Leader calls out Battle Chat (more later) on TeamSpeak, everyone in that channel is expected to remain quiet until the Squad Leader says otherwise. However you may speak if you have something important to say relating to the squad's immediate in-game status. Otherwise, the Squad Leader is the only one that should be talking. No ifs, ands, or buts about this one. If you persist in talking about something you shouldn't be talking about when Battle Chat is called, you may be kicked out of the channel.

Things to remember when running with

An organized team

The ability to take orders.

Being able to WAIT for your comrades to organize.  All too often people respawn (in any game) and suit up, and go flying towards the enemy alone, one after another, like a bad karate movie.

Keeping Quiet on Teamspeak.  When Battle Chat is enforced, it is essential that only squad relevant material be sent out on teamspeak.  Even when battle chat is called off, it is expected that the topic will stay mainly focused on Planetside.  This is discussed in detail later

What you do represents your entire outfit.  (VERY IMPORTANT) In nearly all other games that do not take place on a massive server like this, a clan will wear tags showing who they work for (WNx / SHS / JAG / {UO} / [LB] ).  When someone does something to hurt the game for someone else, or come up with a superb maneuver to save the entire game very rarely do people remember the name AFTER the tag, they just remember that someone with THAT tag did it.  In short, act mature, treat everyone fairly and try to be respectful to other people playing the game.

Stick with your team or your moving buddy  You should nearly always stay close to your fire team whenever possible.  More often you should stay in VISUAL RANGE of them.

Make sure you know what’s happening.  Some would call it situational awareness, but it’s more than that.  If the squad leader has laid down the mission plan, and you do not understand it totally it is ok to ask again what is about to happen.  Make sure you are on the same page as everyone else in your squad for the mission at hand.  Don’t be the guy going left when everyone else goes right.

Stay on guard at all times.  Even in the emptiest of bases or towers, a someone may be lurking.  Keep your primary weapon out and reloaded when not doing anything else.
